Al Nasher was hired to design and implement the Welfare Association 30th Anniversary (#welfare30) celebrations. As part of the assignment, Al Nasher took charge of telling the story of the Welfare Association’s rich 30 years of history through a number of displays and materials at the Ramallah Cultural Palace.
Combining multi-touch screens with canvas, PVC with projectors, metal truss with cardboard, we managed to transform the Cultural Palace façade and interior into a makeshift museum for Welfare Association. In addition, many components of the design were produced so that they are portable and can be transferred and used for future #Welfare30 events; both locally and in the region. With only 20 hours to complete the installation, our team worked around the clock. The displays included publications, success stories, films, photos, and an elaborate Palestinian spring area for visitors coming back to Palestine for the first time after so many years.
Even after the celebration ended and everyone went home, we were back on site uninstalling everything and shipping parts of the displays to the Mövenpick Hotel for a fund raising dinner taking place the next day. When we say to our clients that Al Nasher is a “We can do it!” team, we are not lying.
